LYIF Express Ticket For Woodbourne-Ulster-Eastern Weekend/Holiday Visits
LYIF Express Travels from select locations in New York City to the following correctional facilities: Woodbourne, Eastern, and Ulster on the 2nd and 3rd weekend of ever month.
By purchasing this ticket, you agree to the following:
I acknowledge that I must arrive on time at my designated pickup location to board the LYIFEXPRESS. I understand that each reservation is $50 per seat, and that infants may share one seat with their mother. I also acknowledge that children over the age of 2 require their own seat and must be included in my booking.
I understand that no additional passengers can be added on the day of travel for logistical and safety reasons. All riders must be registered in advance with their own ticket.
Confirmation emails will be sent on the Thursday before the upcoming visit.
There is limited seating, please avoid last minute bookings.
LYIF Express – Refund & Credit Policy
At LYIF Express, we understand that travel connected to visitation is deeply personal. Our goal is to be compassionate while also ensuring fairness, reliability, and access for all riders. Each seat reserved prevents another family from traveling, so the following policy helps us balance care with accountability.
1. Seat Reservation Policy
All bookings secure a reserved seat on a scheduled trip. Once booked, that seat is removed from availability for other riders.
2. Standard Cancellation Window

Cancellations made 72 hours or more before departure
→ Eligible for full refund or full travel credit -
Cancellations made between 48–72 hours before departure
→ Eligible for travel credit only (valid for a future LYIF Express trip)
3. Late Cancellations (Within 48 Hours of Departure)

No refunds issued

No credits issued, except in limited circumstances outlined below
This policy exists because last-minute cancellations often leave seats unfilled that could have served another family.
4. Weather & Safety Exceptions
In the event of:

Severe weather (snowstorms, arctic blasts, unsafe driving conditions)

Facility closures or visitation suspensions
-
LYIF Express–initiated cancellations
Guests will be offered:

Full refund, or
-
Full credit toward a future trip (guest’s choice)
5. Emergency Exceptions (Case-by-Case)
We recognize emergencies happen. Exceptions may be considered for:

Medical emergencies

Family emergencies
-
Documented visitation issues beyond the guest’s control
Documentation may be requested. Approval is at the discretion of LYIF Express.
6. No-Shows
Guests who do not arrive at the designated meeting location by departure time and do not notify LYIF Express in advance will be marked as No-Show.

7. Credits

Travel credits are non-transferable

Credits must be used within 60 days of issuance unless otherwise stated
8. How to Request a Refund or Credit
